Bambi II Enters the Vault Tuesday, April 18

If you still need to buy your copy of Bambi II, time may be running out. The following came from a Disney press release that came out a couple of days ago:

"Just a few days remain before Walt Disney Home Entertainment closes the release window for the extraordinary Disney DVD BAMBI II. Beginning April 18, 2006, the much-heralded sequel to Walt Disney’s timeless classic, along with its wealth of entertaining bonus features, enters the Studios’ moratorium vault. Having already flocked to the must-own release, audiences have made BAMBI II the top-selling DVD premiere of 2006. In tribute to the 70th anniversary of the inception of Walt Disney’s animated classic, BAMBI, the Studio will place BAMBI II under moratorium just 70 days after its street date. "

Generally, Disney re-releases DVDs that have been put into "the vault," but they usually wait several years or more before doing so.
