The Cheetah Girls 2
Production has begun in Barcelona, Spain on the sequel to the popular Disney Channel original Cheetah Girls movie. Raven-Symoné ("That's So Raven"), Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams, and Sabrina Bryan reprise their roles as Galleria, Chanel, Aquanetta and Dorinda, who make up the Cheetah Girls teen vocal group. The movies are inspired by "The Cheetah Girls," a book series written by Deborah Gregory and published by Jump at the Sun/Hyperion Books for Children. The Cheetah Credo is:
"Cheetah Girls are created equal, but we are not alike; we come in different sizes, shapes and colors, but we don't judge others by the color of their spots; we don't spend more on our hair than our homework; we use our brains, courage, heart, talent and skills to pay our bills; we don't run with wolves or hang with hyenas; we follow our dreams, and nobody else's; we can admit when we're wrong and make it right, we say we're sorry, even when we don't want to; grown ups aren't always right, but we give them respect, and we get respect from them. When we're scared, we summon the growl power of the Cheetah Girls before us to be strong, we will always be there for our Cheetah family when they need our love and support. We promise to learn a language other than our own and travel to meet other Cheetah Girls all over the world."
In The Cheetah Girls sequel, Galleria enters the group in a Barcelona music festival, and the girls embark on an adventurous journey and go after the chance of a lifetime. Once they arrive in Spain, things get a little crazy. They meet Marisol, a talented solo singer and her manager/mother Lola, who unbeknownst to the Cheetahs, may lead their group to break up; they are shown the sights by Joaquin, a handsome young tango dancer who falls for Dorinda; the fashion bug bites aspiring designer Aquanetta; Chanel questions the future of her mother and Luc's relationship; Galleria begins to lose faith in the Cheetah Credo; and the Cheetahs' dream of becoming stars may be dashed forever when they are informed they've broken a stringent festival rule. My 6yr old daughter loves The Cheetah Girls. And she told me of the sequel but I was unable to find nothing until your site. Is their any info on a possible release date,or if it will aire on disney channel or go straight to dvd,And will it be before June 2006.
Hello Jaminna, thank you for the comment on Cheetah Girls 2! Disney has not yet given a release date for this movie. From what they have said so far, it sounds like the movie will be broadcast on the Disney Channel. If it is successful, which I am sure it will be, they usually release to DVD a couple of months after it airs. I will keep you posted as I find new information!
i live in the uk my daughter loves the cheetah girls is there any where i can get the cheetah girls first movie on dvd and also the second movie when in spain i have seen them on the net but thry are region one we need region two.

i’m hysterically excited that their new movie “The Cheetah Girls 2″, I heard about a month ago that Raven-Symone is also in the movie. The first movie was alright but I bet this will be better. I love it how they sing and act , I love the type of music they sing. On August 19th I think it’s playing on Disney Channel. I really like the Cheetah Girls movies, all the girls are really talented and have great voices.
Even though I AM a fan, I’m gunna have to say I’m not too kean on Galleria, I think she’s cool and all, but I don’t like the way all the drama revolves around her in all the movies, I’d like to see more drama with Aqua or Dorinda.
Other than that, it’s pretty cool.
