Hoodwinked On DVD Tuesday, May 2

"Hoodwinked" (2006) was the Weinstein Company's (founded by the two brothers who founded Miramax) first foray into the world of computer animation. The movie puts a new spin on the classic tale of "Little Red Riding Hood" as each of the characters elaborate on the events with a spin of their own.

The movie received mixed reviews when it came out in January this year, but I thought it was great. The movie's interesting format of telling the story from each character's point of view was clever and fun. Watching a movie that was actually different from the now popular animated story with a ton of cultural spoofs made up for any flaws in the plot and character development.
