Pixar/Disney's Cars Opens June 9

I was at the mall today, and when I passed the Disney store they had all the new Cars toys on display. They were so cute! Pixar always does a great job, and I think a lot of people are excited about Cars. The idea is fresh and fun. With all of the animated movies coming out this year, Cars stands out because of the unique way that Pixar brings automobiles to life.

The movie tells the story of Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson), a hotshot rookie race car driven to succeed. He discovers that life is about the journey, not the finish line, when he finds himself unexpectedly detoured in the sleepy Route 66 town of Radiator Springs. Cars opens Friday, June 9.
