Bedknobs and Broomsticks

Today's featured Halloween movie is the 1971 Disney classic Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Set during World War II, the story follows Eglantine Price, whose important training to become a witch is interrupted when she is asked to care for three orphans. Her education is further curtailed when her teacher mysteriously discontinues the lessons. Eglantine and the children set out on a magical adventure to find a missing page from the old book her teacher had used to create his so-called lessons. Bedknobs and Broomsticks is rated G, and the 30th Anniversary Edition DVD was released in 2001 .
