The Watcher in the Woods (DVD) (1980)

Thursday October 12, 2006
Anyone else remember this one? I remember seeing The Watcher in the Woods in one of my classes in elementary school. I don't think a teacher could get away with that now. Definitely scary and suspenseful, this one is suitable for older, mature and not easily frightened children!

In this spooky suspense film, an American family moves into a creepy manor house located within a wooded area. Before long they start to see some odd things, and the new tenants learn that 30 years ago, a teenage girl, who bears an uncanny resemblance to their daughter Jan, disappeared nearby. Soon, the supernatural presence starts contacting both sisters. Rated PG.
