Home Alone: Family Fun Edition

Wednesday November 22, 2006
Home Alone, the classic Christmas movie that made Macaulay Culkin famous, is now available on DVD in a new family fun edition. The DVD includes all-new on-camera interviews and audio commentary with Culkin and Director Chris Columbus, numerous deleted scenes, hilarious blooper reel, set-top games, multiple featurettes including behind-the-scenes look at the crazy stunts from the movie and more.

Home Alone became such a classic because of the rich Holiday scenes, the unique storyline, and the strong moral about families. The new features add to the experience with added insight into the movie and the funny things that go on during the filming process. You can preview some of the new features here:

Home Alone is also listed on the Kids TV/Movies Top 10 Christmas Movies for Families and Kids.

*If you have never seen Home Alone, this is one you will want to preview before allowing kids to watch. The movie is PG, but there is some language as well as slapstick violence. (Photo © Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. All Rights Reserved.)

Home Alone “Family Fun Edition” NOT for families! The latest release of Home Alone “Family Fun Edition” is neither for the family or fun. DO NOT buy this movie if you intend to show it to children under 11 years old. Profanity is abundant. We are very dissapointed and returning the movie tomorrow. I am disturbed that they advertise this movie as acceptable for families.
