Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey's Great Clubhouse Hunt

Monday March 19, 2007
Available on DVD Tuesday, March 20, is the double-length springtime special, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Great Clubhouse Hunt. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse airs daily on Playhouse Disney, and features those familiar characters - Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and others. A learning-based show for preschoolers, the show focuses on a curriculum of mathematics and problem solving.

The springtime special does not focus on "springy" things as much as I had been expecting. Yes, there are Easter eggs and decorations, and the different seasons are mentioned, but most of the show focuses on the "hunt" for clubhouse pieces that are inadvertently scattered. The DVD is still generally fun for kids, but not a great one for adults watching with them.
