My Friends Tigger & Pooh Premieres May 12, 2007 on the Disney Channel
Disney is bringing back the lovable friends from the Hundred Acre Wood in a new educational show for preschoolers titled, My Friends Tigger & Pooh. Premiering May 12, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. (ET/PT), the CG animated series also introduces two new characters - six-year-old Darby and her dog Buster.
Each episode of My Friends Tigger & Pooh revolves around solving a mystery in the Hundred Acre Wood. When the "sleuther siren" sounds, Super Sleuths Darby, Buster, Pooh and Tigger are first on the scene. Together, they "think, think, think," until they unravel the mystery, and they always learn something new in the process.
While no modern day show will compare with the original whimsical tales (and we wouldn't expect it to do so), My Friends Tigger & Pooh brings to kids the basic friendly charm and inquisitive innocence that has always characterized the Winnie the Pooh characters. Kids will also love the colorful CG animation, bright music, and memorable signature phrases.
