High School Musical 2 Will Air on August 17, 2007

The highly anticipated sequel Disney Channel movie, High School Musical 2, is scheduled to air on August 17, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on the Disney Channel. Disney has categorized the High School Musical series as being "for kids, tweens and families," and they held pretty true to that promise in the original High School Musical movie, so I have high hopes for the sequel; although, the plot does sound a little bit like a soap opera. Either way, though, Disney has pulled out all the stops in order to make a sequel that will meet the expectations of millions of die-hard fans.
