Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board - On DVD Tuesday
You've heard of surfing, skate boarding, snow boarding, and even wake boarding, but what about dirtboarding? The latest in extreme sports, dirt mountain boarding, is the subject of the Disney Channel Movie Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board. The show aired on the Disney Channel in June and was a big hit. The DVD, complete with a special feature about dirtboarding, will be available on DVD Tuesday, October 9.
When 17-year old Johnny Kapahala returns to his hometown in Hawaii for the wedding of his surf-legend grandfather he meets his soon-to-be uncle, 12-year-old Chris. Chris, an avid dirtboarder, is not impressed with Johnny's talents on the surf and snow. Johnny makes an effort to reach out to Chris by giving dirtboarding a try, but the trail to a new family relationship is as bumpy as the mountain boarding trails.
