As part of the channel's Earth Day celebration, Playhouse Disney goes green with a new environmentally focused episode of Handy Manny which airs April 22 at 9:00 a.m. (ET/PT). Two stories, "Sculptor Manny" and "Manny Goes Solar," will help kids learn about recycling and solar power. A lot of kids adore Manny and his anthropomorphic tools, so the simple messages could have a lasting impact. In order to help that happen, Disney has launched an Earth Day section of the Playhouse Disney website where parents can find fun activities for kids and tips on teaching kids about the environment.
