Whose Eye Is It?

This big eye won't be hard to spy in the upcoming and anxiously awaited annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! Making his BIG parade debut, Horton the elephant's gigantic balloon likeness will float through the sky delighting children everywhere. And what will he be holding in his trunk? A clover, of course, as he will be celebrating the December 9th release of Horton Hears a Who on DVD and Blu-ray.

The theatrical release of Horton Hears a Who (in March of this year) presents a wonderful rendition of the popular children's book by Dr. Seuss. Movies based on books offer parents and educators a great opportunity to get kids excited about stories and reading as kids are able to read the story and then see it brought to life. The DVD and storybook combo is a great present if your looking for a holiday gift idea for kids that is both enriching and fun. Horton also displays his characteristic loyalty and selflessness in the story Horton Hatches the Egg. I hope they make that one into a movie as well!
