New Episodes of Ni Hao, Kai-lan

Tuesday September 29, 2009

Just as cute and interactive as Dora, Kai-lan introduces kids to Chinese culture and has become a big hit among preschoolers. Fans will be excited to know that Nickelodeon will premiere four new episodes of Ni Hao, Kai-lan from Tuesday, Oct. 13 – Friday Oct. 16 (all times are 1:30 p.m., ET/PT). The new episodes will of course introduce kids to new Chinese words, and they also cover a range of social/emotional skills surrounding topics such as choices, inclusion and practice.

Kai-lan will be big this holiday season. Parents who are looking to please preschoolers can find DVDs and all kinds of new Kai-lan merchandise at most toy stores, and a lot of the toys are both fun and educational for young children. The new Kai-lan doll unveiled at this year's toy fair, for example, is now available in stores. The cute replica of the wide-eyed little girl shows 6 different emotions to help kids learn about different feelings. From stocking stuffers like plush dolls and tiny figurines to gifts worthy of Santa himself, parents of kids who adore Kai-lan have no shortage of options this holiday season.
