Team Umizoomi Costumes

Comments are building up on one of my older posts about Team Umizoomi, regarding kids who want to be Umizoomi characters for Halloween. Umizoomi costumes aren't available in stores, but Nick Jr. does have some Milli, Geo, and Bot costume ideas on their website. NickJr.com often has great crafts and activities for all kinds of parties and activities for each show, so the website is a great resource for parents at Halloween time, birthday party time, or anytime.

Having said all that, the Umizoomi costumes on the site aren't really stellar, but they will give you some ideas for a starting point. Also, the Umizoomi birthday party page has a ton of great resources that could give you even more ideas.

I'm not going to be making any costumes this year; I'm making my kids make their own. Ha! But for all of you trying to recreate your child's favorite TV character in a costume, good luck, and don't forget there is a wealth of online resources that can help you. Personally, I am addicted to the Google or Bing image searches to get ideas for any craft, recipe or other project I might want to try. You will find that most time, others have undertaken the task already, and you can learn from their successes and mistakes.

I have looked at ever web site that was given and I can not find a Milli dress at any of them. My granddaughter wants a Milli dress more than anything. I have looked every where for fabric to make one and I can’t find anything and we have looked at every dress with “patterns” but they are just not what she was looking for. Please don’t state that they are available when they are not!

I am not looking for the large costume, but the pink dress she wears in the cartoons.
