In the coldest month of winter, a lovely holiday warms the hearts of millions across America: Valentine's Day. With all the preparation for your children's Valentine's party chances are you might need to entertain your kids while getting them in the mood for the festivities. What better way than a kid's movie about the holiday of love!

The following list contains child-appropriate movies and television specials about everyone's favorite love-centric holiday. Of course, any of the Disney Princess movies would also work, but these are movies specifically about Valentine's Day.

This classic and much-loved "Peanuts" story centers on the romantic yearnings of Charlie Brown. As Valentine's Day approaches, Lucy tries to get Schroeder to give her a card, Sally chases after Linus, and poor Charlie Brown dreams of getting just one valentine. The DVD also includes "You're in Love, Charlie Brown" and "It's Your First Kiss, Charlie Brown."

Another Charlie Brown Valentin's Day special, "A Charlie Brown Valentine," is also available on DVD. This special aired in 2002, after the death of "Peanuts" creator Charles Schulz, but it was based on one of his cartoon strips. "A Charlie Brown Valentine" focuses on Charlie's desire to give the Little Red-Haired Girl a Valentine and contains some truly memorable moments.

"Winnie the Pooh" and his many stories has long been a cornerstone of the Disney movie franchise. Fortunately, that means there have been not one but two Valentines day mini-movies of this popular animated film.

The special edition release contains two classic "Winnie the Pooh" stories. In "Un-Valentine's Day," Rabbit forces everyone to promise that they will not send Valentines, causing secret Valentine sending chaos. "A Valentine for You," tells the story of the time everyone got worried that Christopher Robin had been bitten by the love bug, the Smitten.

In this "Sesame Street" special, Elmo has love on his mind. And who does Elmo love? You! Even R.E.M., Trisha Yearwood, and John Legend make guest appearances in this fun Valentine's Day special. 

In the movie, Elmo wants to make a special card for someone he loves very much, but he is having trouble deciding what to put on the card. Elmo's good friends Rosita and Grover show Elmo they love him by helping him and being his friends. 

Especially great for younger audiences, this is sure to be a repeat film for your family, especially during the holiday.

In "My Fuzzy Valentine," SHEEP decides to make a special Valentine song for her pal BEAR all about being fuzzy. In "The Love Bug," BUG wants to sign a Valentine for his favorite WordFriend, but he has to learn how to write his name first.
