We don't have a dog, but that wouldn't be the case if my kids had their way. In fact, my youngest is inexplicably completely obsessed with dogs, namely chihuahuas. So yes, she has been anticipating the new Beverly Hills Chihuahua movie for weeks. When we got the movie, my oldest rolled her eyes, but the younger sibs couldn't wait to have a Beverly Hills Chihuahua fiesta.
Overall, the plot had a lot going on, making it a challenge for little ones to stick with it. But as a mom, I got the message. The tagline for the movie is "Family Always Matters," and what I liked about the movie, is that it conveyed the fact that family has to "matter" as in a verb, not just some obscure feeling of importance.
