Hugo - The Book

The movie Hugo is based on the award-winning, imaginative New York Times best-seller, The Invention of Hugo Cabret, by Brian Selznick. The unique novel uses words and stunning, mysterious looking pictures to tell the fascinating story of the young orphan boy. The pictures are drawn in black and white with great detail and from many different perspectives. The book is studied in school by many children and has a wealth of literary qualities that are fabulous for discussions as well as artwork that is perfect for teaching kids to analyze art and perspective.
