Deep Sea IMAX - Synopsis

Narrated by Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet, Deep Sea takes viewers into the deep sea for a look at some of the ocean's most exotic creatures. Oceanic filmmaker Howard Hall (Into the Deep) captures on film wonders that most people would otherwise never see, or even conceive of.

As viewers travel to through the deep, the narrators point out the fascinating ways in which the creatures of the deep are dependent on each other, and how our destiny is tied to theirs.

Deep Sea IMAX - Guide Review and *Note to Parents

Deep Sea IMAX captures some of the most amazing creatures imaginable. The DVD is captivating throughout, making 41 minutes seem very short.

The movie is an excellent learning tool for kids; however, because it moves so quickly, young kids may have a hard time following. As our family watched, we replayed several portions of the movie either to see the creature again or to point out things to the kids.

Also, a couple of eerie looking animals are shown preying on other creatures. The feeding animals and corresponding music may be be frightening to very young kids.
