Bedtime Stories is an adventure comedy starring ADAM SANDLER as Skeeter Bronson, a hotel handyman whose life is changed forever when the bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start to mysteriously come true. When he tries to help his family by telling one outlandish tale after another, it’s the kids’ unexpected contributions that turn all of their lives upside down.
Bedtime Stories - Fun for Families
In the movie, Skeeter makes up stories and allows the kids to throw in plot twists and details as well. Their adventures occur in settings like the Old West, outer space, medieval times, and ancient Greece.
Making up stories provides hilarious family entertainment, and it also helps kids develop literacy and creative skills. In conjunction with watching the movie, kids can make up their own terrific tales and imagine what it would be like if they actually came true. Or, play a family add-on story game, where each member of the family makes up one minute of a story at a time. When the timer dings, it is the next person's turn to continue the tale for one minute. Just keep taking turns until the story ends or a preset number of turns are up, and see how the story turns out as everyone makes their own imaginative contributions.
