Cory is funny and fun-loving, but he is also a budding businessman. His entrepreneurial spirit becomes the source of many funny moments in the show, as he tries to impress the President with his inventive ideas.
As the son of a White House staff member, Cory must attend Washington Preparatory Academy, an elite private school. As Cory adapts to the new environment, he meets two great friends - Meena, an ambassador's daughter, and Newt, heir to a political dynasty.
