Dr. Dolittle 3 - Guide Review
Dr. Dolittle 3 continues the story of the famous Dolittle who can talk to animals. Only this time, the story is about Maya (Kyla Pratt), Dr. Dolittle's daughter. She too has inherited the miraculous ability to talk to animals, but sometimes her blessing seems more like a curse. When Maya's special skills get her into trouble and her desire to fit in compounds the problem, her mother decides she needs a little break. To Maya's dismay, she is sent off to a dude ranch for the summer. Can this awful place really be the key to finding out who she really is?
The new DVD in the Dolittle saga contains some cute comedy and a lot of heart - along with a lot of fluff. In other words, pre-teen girls will love it! The movie takes boy craziness to somewhat of an extreme; but Kyla Pratt is adorable as Maya, and her character's summer adventure portrays a strong moral about being true to one's self.
