It's not going to win any awards, but talking dogs in all kinds of crazy outfits and silly situations is entertaining for young kids.

Guide Review - Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2
The famous Papi and Chloe are now married with children in Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2, and with puppies come a lot of hard work and responsibility. But, when their human owners find themselves in a tough spot, Papi, Chloe and the gang jump in to help. Chaos ensues when the pups decide to take things into their own paws, but with all that puppy love, things are bound to turn out okay in the end.
Most of the main characters are played by different actors in Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 than in the original movie, but hey, they got George Lopez. Not surprisingly, the plot is predictable and and fairly unimaginative, and some scenes are such a stretch, they're practically painful to watch for adults. But with talking dog movies, it's all about the dogs. Young children will get a big kick out of the talking pooches dressed up in all kinds of fancy clothes. Plenty of silly puppy antics keep young kids entertained, and parents will appreciate the family friendly feel of the movie.
