I don't think I've seen a more beautiful world weaving in all of the whimsy and magic of nature than the lush and colorful world of the Disney Fairies. It's easy to get lost in Pixie Hollow, with the tiny little homes made of things like acorns and flower petals, and the different fairies who each have a special talent to help keep nature on it's course. If you have a little fairy fan, she will love these movies from the Disney Fairy series, and the other films also feature Tinker Bell for more fairy fun. And, check out ideas for a fairy birthday/movie party
to make viewing the movie an event to remember.

This first movie in the Disney Fairies franchise introduces us to the magical world of Pixie Hollow, where all the fairies live. With a baby’s sweet first laugh, a new fairy is born. Queen Clarion and the other fairies greet the new arrival as she floats into Pixie Hollow on a little white seed umbrella. Queen Clarion instructs this newly born fairy to find her talent. A glowing hammer, representing the tinker talent, illuminates the new pixie’s destiny; and Queen Clarion dubs the little lass Tinker Bell. As Tinker Bell struggles to find her place in this new world, she learns about friendship, determination, and perseverance.

Wendy Darling and her little brothers John and Michael love to tell stories about the adventurous hero Peter Pan. One night, the night before Wendy has to stop sleeping in the nursery and "grow up", Peter actually comes to visit the Darlings. Peter whisks Wendy and her brothers off to Never Land, an exciting and wonderful world where children never have to grow up. Of course, Peter's right-hand-woman is the feisty little fairy Tinker Bell. Kids who are fans of the Disney Fairies movies will love seeing where the little fairy got her start.
