Tot-a-Doodle-Do! "School" - Synopsis

Tot-a-Doodle-Do DVDs encourage creativity, imagination, and socialization through live-action segments which teach children and present various types activities they can also try at home. The Tot-a-Doodle-Do! "School" DVD focuses on a school theme, and is divided into the following segments:
  • In “Crafty Kids,” The Crew shows kids how to make their own play dough.
  • “Imagination Station” shows kids how to have a great time using nothing but their own imaginations.
  • “On Our Block” introduces different people in the world who affect children’s lives. In the "school" DVD, kids get to meet a kindergarden teacher.
  • “Hop N Bop” gets kids dancing and moving to the music and singing original, toe-tapping songs about going to school.
  • The “Super Snack” segment introduces pinwheel sandwhiches.
  • “Molly Manners,” a delightful puppet character, instructs kids about good school manners through role-playing.

Tot-a-Doodle-Do! "School" - Guide Review

Tot-a-Doodle-Do encourages kids to have fun while they expand their talents and abilities through imaginative, creative activities. Concrete examples of crafts, games, meal ideas and more give children specific ideas they can actually try for themselves, which is by far the best way for kids to learn and grow.

The "school" DVD moves quickly, and the segment hosts talk quickly in order to get through all of the information. Each segment is accessible on the DVD menu though, so kids and parents can easily watch segments that offer recipes or ideas they want to see again. Also, the short segments on school-related information provide kids with a fun introduction to topics such as manners and rules, which parents may want to elaborate on at a later time.
