The stunning sequel to my favorite children's DVD The Gruffalo, The Gruffalo's Child follows the story of the child's suspenseful journey into the snowy night time forest to find the big, scary mouse. The movies are based on the delightful books by Julia Donaldson and narrated by Helena Bonham Carter. Kids will love the rich animation and captivating story. (Rated G)

Green Eggs & Ham and Other Stories brings the persistent Sam-I-Am as well as the Sneeches and the Zax to HD life. These stories are great for preschoolers, and are even more fun if they read the books first. If your kids are fond of Dr. Seuss stories, read the books with them, watch the movie, and try some related activities such as making green eggs and ham for lunch, or playing rhyming games with the words in the story.
If your child is a fan of the Wiggles, this DVD would be the perfect birthday present. Murray, Jeff, Anthony and Sam are full of surprises as they entertain kids with energetic songs, fun dances and all kinds of silliness. With their animated acting, singing and dancing, the Wiggles make it fun for kids to play, sing and dance along. (Rated G)
Featuring episodes from the hit Disney series for preschoolers, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, this DVD contains a double-length feature starring none other than Peter Pan himself. In the title episode, Jake and his friends must battle the schemes of Captain Hook as they help Peter Pan find his lost shadow. Both boys and girls alike love this raucous, music-filled show, and the Peter Pan special is a treat. The DVD also includes five additional episodes and a bonus feature game. (Rated TV-Y)
Fans of the adorable Bubble Guppies will love this DVD featuring the double-length feature "Bubble Puppy's Fin-Tastic Fairy Tale!" In the once-upon-a-time special, Bubble Puppy is turned into a frog by a mean witch. The story features fun fairy tale characters and a lot of fun. The DVD also includes two additional episodes about Bubble Puppy, a game, and a few musical bonus features. Available May 1, 2012.
Peanut Big Top has planned to share a fabulous surprise with all of her friends in Lalaloopsy Land, but there is just one problem: Pillow is missing. Can Pillow's friends find her before she misses the big surprise? After all, everyone knows that Peanut's surprises are the best. This movie is 70 minutes long, and very slowly paced. The show is a major advertisement for the Lalaloopsy brand dolls, and the movie lacks some in storyline, but preschool aged girls adore it. (NR, recommended for ages 2-6)
