You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown presents an animated mini-musical, based on the award-winning stage hit, all about the life and times of that poor pal who is always getting the short end of things in life - Charlie Brown. The Peanuts characters we have come to know and love star in this tribute to Charlie and the gang,  highlighted by the memorable music from Clark Gesner.  In the special, between the clever musical numbers, we see snippets of interactions among the Peanuts gang which exemplify the funny and relatable foibles that have made them so dear to our hearts. Then, to sum it all up, the gang breaks into the endearing song "Happiness." The special is throuroughly enjoyable and is a must-own for Peanuts fans.

We all know that sports are not where Charlie Brown's talent lies, and what is with Lucy always pulling that football away at the last second? But this time, for real, Charlie just might have a chance to come out a winner. The DVD will get you in the mood to be outdoors, with all of the playing going on, and the shows are entertaining for the whole family (but hopefully the kids don't get the joke of Snoopy in the hospital reading "Playdog" magazine! That Snoopy.). NR
