"eebee's adventures: Exploring Real Stuff" Synopsis

"eebee's adventures" DVDs are divided into three 10-minute segments, each of which focuses on specific developmental concepts. In "Exploring Real Stuff," eebee and playmates demonstrate how babies can use everyday items to make a range of discoveries about the physical world around them:

  • Brimming with Ideas: eebee and babies use items such as cups and scoops to learn about comparing, cause and effect, adding, removing, pouring, transferring, scooping, filling, dumping, and spreading.

  • Out of the Box: eebee and friends explore the properties of paper and boxes to experience feeling, stretching, tearing, crumpling, finding, hiding, crinkling, pulling, pushing, waving, and weighing.

  • On a Roll: eebee and babies play with balls and blocks, experimenting with rolling, reaching, sliding, sharing, smooth, bumpy, flat, round, light, heavy, up, down, over, and through.
