Wilmer Valderrama voices the main character, Manny, in Disneys Handy Manny series for preschoolers. He was also the voice of Rodrigo in the feature film Cliffords Really Big Movie, but parents will probably recognize Valderrama from his role as Fez, on Foxs That 70s show.
Wilmer Valderrama has been very busy in the world of TV and movies. He is the creator, producer and host of MTVs Yo Momma, and he has several upcoming feature films including Unaccompanied Minors, Chips, and Something Blue.
Born in Miami, Florida, Valderrama moved to Venezuela at a young age. According to his Disney bio, he moved to Los Angeles from Venezuela with his family at thirteen years old. He didnt speak a word of English. He quickly learned the language and began drama class in in high school to help assimilate him into American culture. He preformed in numerous playse and made his professional debut in a Spanish Pacific Bell commercial.
At his drama teachers suggestion, Valderrama got an agent and was immediately cast in a CBS miniseries Four Corners as well as the Disney Channels Omba Makamba. Valderrama was a junior in high school when he was cast in the pilot that became That 70s show.
Fun Fact: Wilmer Valderrama co-owns three restaurants: Dolce, The Lodge, Geisha House.
