Here are a few bonus feature highlights:
- J.K. Rowling: A Year in the Life: Really, this feature makes the whole disc worth it. Who isn't curious about what life is like for the famous author who went from rags to riches all on the merit of her own fantastic imagination and incredible writing skills? In the feature, J.K. Rowling answers questions both personal and professional, and she talks about things in her life that directly influenced the Harry Potter story. This feature is a gem for adults and kids, and is especially educational for kids who are learning about authors and the writing process. (49:32)
- What's On Your Mind: Hosted by Tom Felton, the cast is put on the spot when asked a series of rapid-fire questions on their likes and dislikes. This feature is great fun for kids, who often have a keen interest in what stars are like and will be amazed to see how these famous stars are just like other kids their age. (6:41)
- Universal's The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Sneak Peek: Get an "inside look" at the amazing world of magic and excitement being created at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida. We were disappointed that this feature didn't show more of the real park, but looking at the models and hearing the Harry Potter actors discussing the coming attraction is really quite exciting and amazing. - WB Maximum Movie Mode: With Director David Yates, Producers David Heyman and David Barron, and cast members Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and Tom Felton, this feature makes it possible to watch interesting information about the film either picture-in-picture with the movie or separately. - BD-Live Media Center: Warner Bros. has already made landmark use of the BD-Live capabilities with a screening in which Daniel Radcliffe and director David Yates chatted with viewers about the movie and more. Warner has promised additional Live features to come.
