High School Musical: The Concert - Synopsis
Now that the High School Musical: The Concert tour has ended, and the stars are back at work filming High School Musical 2, Disney will air a TV special that will take viewers back stage and behind the scenes for a retrospective look at the tour.
The concert tour featured the stars of High School Musical - Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Gabreel, Corbin Bleu, and Monique Coleman - with the exception of Zac Efron, who was busy filming Hairspray. Standing in for Zac was singer/songwriter Drew Seely, who co-wrote the popular HSM song "Get'cha Head in the Game" and also contributed male vocals to the HSM soundtrack.
High School Musical: The Concert, the TV special, gives fans who didn't get to the sold out shows a look at the concert performances of popular songs from the HSM soundtrack. In addition, the show goes back stage and on the tour buses with the stars of the concert tour.
