In a word, Gustafer yellowgold's Wide Wild World is unique. From the easy going music and seemingly random lyrics to the fanciful illustrations and charming visual layout, Gustafer gives kids and parents a whole new experience.
The songs featured on the Gustafer Yellowgold DVD and CD are not the typical kids' music fare. The music is catchy, but mellow, and it is music that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike.
While the lyrics may seem random or weird to adults and comical to kids, the songs tell a story about Gustafer. He came from the sun to live on Earth, a cooler world, and he makes friends with the oddest of creatures. His observant, contemplative life conveyed through song subtly muses upon deeper subjects such as death and friendship.
Looking through a picture frame with the lyrics to the songs written across the bottom (in sing-along fashion), viewers get a glimpse of the strange life that is Gustafer's.
