Open Season Movie Trailer
Boog (voiced by Martin Lawrence), a congenial grizzly bear, is living the perfect life. In the tranquil town of Timberline, Boog enjoys all manner of creature comforts living in the decked out garage which belongs to Beth(Debra Messing), the forest ranger who rescued him as a cub. Boog loves to watch his favorite TV shows, eat, and sleep in his comfy bed each night with his teddy bear, Dinkelman, but everything changes when Elliot appears.
Elliot (Ashton Kutcher) is the scrawny, fast-talking mule deer who Boog rescues from a fanatical hunter, Shaw (Gary Sinise). Elliot tracks Boog down to his home and lures him out for a crazy night on the towna bender which results in both of them being relocated to the forest. Boog awakens in the wilderness, panicked to find himself far from the comforts of his home.
Now with open season upon them, the two must find their way back to Boog's Timberline home. In order to survive, they enlist the help of other forest animals and turn the tables on the open season hunters.
Open season is Sony Pictures Animations debut feature-length CG-animated film. Rated PG for some rude humor, mild action and brief language, the film looks to be very similar to recent animated movies about animal escapades.
