Ramona and Beezus - About the Books
The book series about Ramona Quimby was written by Beverly Cleary and is sort of a spin-off her earlier Henry Huggins books. The Henry Higgins books follow Henry and his interactions with other children who live on Klickitat Street, including Ramona and Beezus. After the first few Henry Huggins books, Cleary wrote Beezus and Ramona, the first in the Ramona series. Six other books have followed, chronicling the hilarious life and times of Ramona as she grows facing the trials and travails of being a kid. The most recent Ramona book, Ramona's World came out in 1999.
