The Fairly OddParents - Overview
Timmy Turner may seem like the average 10-year-old, but he has something most kids dont Fairy Godparents who grant wishes. Charged with making Timmy happy, the wacky Cosmo and Wanda are everywhere at anytime to make Timmys fondest wishes come true. For Timmy, the only trouble with getting all his wishes granted is getting what he wished for!
Cosmo and Wanda disguise themselves as animals and objects when other people are around, and Timmy cant tell anyone about them. Though they mean well, they can sometimes get him into trouble. Between their help and his granted wishes, Timmy usually ends up wishing everything would just go back to normal. Thankfully, Timmy also has his best friends Chester and A.J. to help him, and he usually learns a valuable life lesson through his hilarious struggles.
The Fairly OddParents - Guide Review
The Fairly Oddparents was created by Butch Hartman, and he effectively uses satire and cultural spoofs in his writing of the animated show. Thus, the show has become popular among teens and adults as well as kids, and the shows contain some material that may not meet the approval of parents with young children.
The show themes and morals are usually well-intended and safe, but the characters do spout out some potty humor. Kids may hear phrases such as poser and they will kick our butts among others. At times, Timmy and other characters on the show can also display mildly disrespectful attitudes, and stereotypes typical of the age group are seen such as the school bully and the popular, pretty girl.
