Save the Wonder Pets! DVD

The first available Wonder Pets! DVD features a unique episode, "Save the Wonder Pets!", in which the tables have turned on the three class-room pet heroes. This time, it is the Wonder Pets who are the animals in trouble, and grateful animals from all over will come to save them!

Adventures featured on this DVD take the Wonder Pets under the sea, and to other places all over the world:

• "Save the Wonderpets!": A double length Wonder Pets! feature, the Wonder Pets travel under the sea to save a baby blowfish and are accidentally swallowed by a whale.
• "Save the Sea Lions": Two baby sea lions need to learn to share, or they could be in sewious trouble. The Wonder Pets travel all the way to Alaska to help the seals in danger.
• "Save the Kangaroo": In Australia, a baby kangaroo has lost his mommy. The Wonder Pets learn about animals in the outback as they try to help the joey find its mama.
• "Save the Caterpillar": The Wonder Pets fly over some wild boars and past the Parthenon to help an inchworm who is worried about his friend caterpillar. As it turns out, the caterpillar is just going through the natural process of change.
• "Save the Crane": A baby crane in trouble calls the Wonder Pets into a Japanese painting where they help him escape danger.
• "Save the Hedgehog": A hedgehog is trapped in a hedge, and the Wonder Pets must travel all the way to England in order to save him.
• "Save the Crocodile": The Wonder Pets travel to the Nile where a baby crocodile has a toothache. While there, the Wonder Pets discover a fascinating relationship between two unlikely "friends."

*Educational subjects include: vocabulary words such as pry and hedge; various animals from different parts of the world such as Australia, England, Japan, Alaska, Greece, the Nile; and some facts about the different places. Wonder Pets! focuses on building a sense of team work and on problem soving skills. The show is supported by a rich musical sound track, which is described as a mini-operetta.
