By , About.com Guide

VeggieTales movies teach kids valuable biblical lessons through fun animated stories starring their favorite Veggie pals. The movies help kids learn how to apply scriptural lessons to real life, and the episodes generally end with a scripture summarizing the moral of the story. But, you don't have to be really religious to enjoy the tales, they generally just teach a universally good lesson through stories, often based on famous tales like The Wizard of Oz, told by silly vegetables.
