X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Official Synopsis
Hugh Jackman reprises the role that made him a superstar - as the fierce fighting machine who possesses amazing healing powers, retractable claws and a primal fury. Leading up to the events of X-Men, X-Men Origins: Wolverine tells the story of Wolverine's epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program. Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, both familiar and new, including surprise appearances by several legends of the X-Men universe whose appearances in the film series have long been anticipated.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Facts for Parents
Past X-men movies have been rated PG-13, and the sequels had increased violence and other content such as language and sexual content. The characters in the movies are based on Marvel Comic characters, and there is also an animated X-Men series, so despite the movie ratings, many kids will likely want to see this movie as well as other movies in the series. A parent review will be posted here soon in order to better help parents decide whether or not this film is appropriate for their kids.
