Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (movie)
My Review
i thought it was a fantastic effort by david yates and going through all the positives of the movie would take me all day so i'll skim through the major negatives. first i believe that xenphilius could have been better, we was a good actor but did not resemble my image of xenophilius at all. secondly, david yates tried to create a love triangle between ron, hrmione and harry. it was completely unnecessary. thirdly, i think that the movie re arranged and moved certain events, such as rita skeeters book, the life and lies of albus dumbledore was hardly mentioned. there were a few other scenes that were shifted because of that.
although there are obviously many flaws i still loved it, mainly because of these scenes; godrics hollow, malfoy manor, ron destroying the horcrux, the ministry, the tale of the three brothers and of course harry and hermione randomly dancing.
the movie, like the book was so good and was definitely better than the fourth and fifth because it had humour and a little bit of light and hope for the main trio in their journey.
i rate harry potter and the deathly hallows movie, part 1 as 4 and a half stars.
